ELIZABETH LINCK

1874-1968

Elizabeth Linck was born in 1874 in Pictin Ontario, Canada.  She had six sisters, three brothers, and a dog named Bob. As a child the work she did was housework, and the games she played were hopscotch and tag. In her spare time she knitted and played the organ. The historic events during her lifetime were the Spanish American War, World War I, and World War II.

The town of Engadine in Elizabeth's time had a St. Mary's Catholic Church where she got married. She had three children, all boys, and four grandchildren. She was really good at being a housewife. Her favorite memory was living on the Furlong farm, by Furlong Creek on M117. She traveled a lot after her husband died. Then she lived in the Ekenberg place, straight west of the Furlong farm by Furlong Creek on Pleasant Avenue. When she died, she died of old age in the year of 1968.
