ANNA VALLIER

1901-1977

Anna Vallier was born on March 18,1901, at Rapinville, Engadine, on the Krause Road. Anna had ten brothers and sisters. Mary, Anna, Irene, Levone, and Eva were sisters. Ed, Tom, Emmet, and Art were her brothers. Anna never really went to school, because she was handicapped mentally and was home schooled. When she was ten, Willam Howard Taft was president. She liked to play ball and do housework. Anna washed dishes, ironed, hung clothes, and made sure the cats and dogs were fed. She couldn’t read but she liked to look at the pictures in the National Geographic and Life magazines. She got around in a horse and buggy, then automobile.

Her favorite traditions were Christmas and birthdays. Her biggest event was when her nieces and nephews got married and when she could visit them. Her favorite memories were of her mother, dad, and family. Anna passed away in October of 1977.
