RALPH SCHRODER

1942-1996

Ralph Schroder was born on December 26, 1942, in Peshtigo, Wisconsin. His sister was Cornelia, and his dog was named April. He walked to Engadine in his levis and took similar classes that are taken now, but he had to work harder, because there were no computers.

His favorite sport was football, and he was really good at fixing car engines. His favorite singer was Hank Williams and his favorite sports team was the Detroit Red Wings. He read Field and Stream magazines, while eating his favorite breakfast cereal, corn flakes. Ralph drove his car to family gatherings at the farm. The biggest historic event in his life was the Kennedy assassination. He fished in his spare time and traveled to Alaska where he was stationed in the service.

He got married to Frankie Sullivan on November 18, 1972, at the church in Engadine. They were married for 23 years, and had two children, Dale and Aaron.
