Frank Dailey 1956-1981
Frank Dailey was born in Stockbridge, Michigan, on July 30, 1956. He had four other brothers and one sister. He started school downstate at Gregory Ashley in Pinckney, Michigan, and finished school at Engadine. Frank enjoyed most of his classes in school, and he loved sports. He got awards for many sports he played, like track, football and basketball. He even liked to watch sports on T.V. On the walls of his room he kept report cards, posters and awards. He also loved his animals, especially his dogs. He worked on a dairy farm and at Tricky Dicky. Frank did not go to college, but got married to Betsey Bigelow (Esther and Cliff’s daughter) on June 19,1976, by Truman Miller in Rexton. They had no children. Later they got divorced. He never drank or smoked ever. He enjoyed riding motorcycles in his spare time rather than wasting time smoking or drinking. Frank also was a fireman, but he did not like to go far away from his home. One day on October 25, 1981, at 4:00 P.M. an electric telephone wire started on fire. Frank died that day and so did another person at the fire. A guy name Charlie was there also and got burned really bad on his back. Frank died fighting the fire, when he was 25 years old. We will remember Frank as a big sports fan and a fireman. Whittney Kerridge Fifth Grade
